Here are some of our favourite descriptive language.
It was a sunny day.
The landscape was bathed in golden sun light.
The brightness was so intense that no-one could see.
The icecream was good.
The ice-cream tasted like a million lollies in my mouth all at once.
Every bit of the ice-cream melted into my taste buds.
The boy was angry.
His face was erupting with furry.
His fist was clinched, his knuckles were white.
The boy ran.
The boy flew like a super hero across the street.
The boy thundered past with only dust left in his tracks.
He made cheese.
The boy screamed as he spotted a mouse invading his yellow creation.
The smile on his face as finally sculpted his yellow surprise.
The teacher was fed up.
Her eyes were red with anger and frustration.
His nose was blocked.
His nose was filled with indescribable green slush.
His nose was so full of green pudding that he was having trouble inhaling oxygen.
An ocean of green sludge bursted from his nose, Ewwwwwww!!!!
It was cold.
It was bone shattering cold, ice covered the windows so thickly that no-one could see out.
The cat was black.
The cat was as dark as it was during witching hour. His eyes were small glints piercing every dark corner.
The cat evaporated into the dark void of the night.
She was hungry.
Her tummy grumbled, it was a pool of hot mud ready to begin its dance.
